Allsorts continues to be a popular meeting place for the under-fives. The cost is just £1.20 per adult, per session and tea, coffee, squash and snacks for both adults and children are provided at no additional cost.
There is a Breakfast Club for parents with babies, starting at 9:15 so parents who have to take older children to school can have a break before tackling the rest of the day. It is helpful as well for new parents to talk over concerns with those who have been through it all before. Visitors to the Breakfast Club are welcome to join the main group later in the morning if they and their little ones can cope with the noise and general mayhem.
The main action starts about 10am – though there is always someone there from 9am if you need coffee and a chat. Most weeks Pastor David joins us for a while during the morning.
At about 11.15, out comes the CD player and children and parents join in a sing-song, which gives some of us time to clear up the toys and do the washing before home-time.
