Join with us to fill and wrap shoeboxes for families and elderly folk supported by Link to Hope. Shoeboxes will be distributed in Moldova, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Romania – with delivery in time for Christmas!
Family Shoebox
Fill a shoebox with gifts and practical equipment for the whole family. Everything from a mini toolkit to a bag of sweets, from a sewing kit to a cuddly toy, all will be appreciated by a family who are living in some of the harshest conditions imaginable.
Elderly Shoebox
With many older folk abandoned as the younger generations leave to seek employment and a more stable future, loneliness and poverty is rife. Your gift of a shoebox, filled with everything from a hot water bottle to a mug, will be greeted with gratitude and love.
How Can I help?
- Pick up a leaflet from the church and get buying
- Drop off items at the church to help fill shoeboxes if you cannot fill a whole one
- Visit the Link to Hope website for more information
- Come to the church on Friday mornings between 10:00am and 1:00pm to help pack extra shoeboxes
