Services

Our usual Sunday Monday services are at 10:30am lasting until around 11.30am. After the service refreshments are served in the Church Hall.

Communion is held on the first Sunday of the month in the morning. The third Sunday of the month is a family service.

Children’s and young people’s activities (Sunday Club and Lighthouse Gang) take place during the morning services.

We hold additional Sunday services in the evening at 6.30pm on the first Sunday of the month which is a Bible Study and the third Sunday of the month which is a Communion service.

Though we are a baptist church all are welcome to join our services, whether they have received baptism or not. Our services generally consist of a variety of sung worship, with a mix of modern worship songs and older hymns, often accompanied by live piano and drums, and sometimes video and sound on our screens. Words to all songs are displayed on the screens around the church. Prayer forms an important part of our church services, mostly led by the preacher, though times of quiet individual prayer are also common. A reading from the bible and a talk / sermon related to that reading will also form part of the service so we can all learn about and reflect on Gods message to us.

See the Diary page for the current month’s schedule.
